FOR YOUR INFORMATION REGARDING THE NUTRITION FACTS
The Nutrition Facts for all the empanada's flavors, were produced by the Saskatchewan Food Industry Development Centre Inc. As per the (FIDC) requested, We submitted a list of the ingredients with weight and other details to produce a specific set of Nutrition Facts for each kind of empanada. The label (including the Nutrition Facts) was approved by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
The Saskatchewan Food Industry Development Centre Inc is a non-profit organization, providing full service assistance to food processors wanting to add value to their products for domestic and/or international markets. The Food Centre’s line of expertise includes food and process development, interim processing, extrusion technology, skills development, food safety education and training, quality assurance, technology transfer and path-finding. The Centre’s federal processing facility is Saskatchewan’s only commercial incubation centre for food processing. The Food Centre houses a state-of-the-art federal facility that is HACCP Approved, Organic Certified, Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) approved for meat, dairy and processed foods, Organic and HALAL Certified, FDA approved (processed foods) and NHP Licensed. Our facility is set up to process a variety of food products destined for world markets.
